Mr. Kennicott leaves a wife and eight children and a mother living near the scene of the accident. The body was so mutilated and cut that identification was rendered very difficult. The manner in which he was killed and the exact time has not been fully established. He went to Plainwell Friday forenoon and put his horse in the Lawence House barn and said he intended to go to Kalamazoo on the noon train and it is believed he did so. Nothing more was known of him until his death was reported as above stated. Whether he was on foot or with his horse and buggy we are not informed. ===========================================================================
