        [134-135]

        Infirmary four miles from Allegan.  A large two story brick build-
     ing with high basement, practically a three story building.  It is
     fortunate that a detached building furnishes quarters for hosptial and
     for those of weak mind, thus overcoming in some measure the obvious
     objections of a high building.  Bath rooms and lavatories are provided
     and there is good water supply and sewerage.  The building is heated
     by steam, and fire escapes are provided.  Separation of sexes is pro-
     vided for in both house and yard.  A new laundry plant has been in-
     stalled the past year.
