Alpena Evening News
October 12, 1905


              JOSEPH VAN BUSKIRK, aged 70 years, died in Harrisville
            yesterday after being ill for a year. Deceased was one
            of the most prominent lumbermen and merchants in Alcona
            county and a member of the G. A. R. and F. and A. M. He
            is survived by a widow, one son and one daughter.
