              The Alcona house, Harrisville, of unsavory reputation,
            was the object of considerable attention from citizens
            the other night. Music from horns, cow bells, tin cans,
            etc., was one of the principal features of the program,
            and the exercises were interspersed by refreshments in
            the shape of hen fruit a trifle too old to be palatable
            and served in a reckless manner.
