         MRS. HARRIET PORTER, 68, wife of Supt. of
       the Fire district JAMES A. PORTER, died at
       the Northampton asylum for the insane Sunday
       night. MRS. PORTER has been at the asylum for
       several years. MRS. PORTER was a native of
       Hadley and her maiden name was BURNETT. She
       leaves besides her husband, two sons, FRANK
       and FRED PORTER. The burial was in Northampton.
