HUGH MURPHY of Lyman street, who was taken to the House of Providence hospital Tuesday suffer- ing from the effects of two hemmorhages supposed to have been brought on by the severe heat, died yesterday in the Northampton asylum. He was taken there late in the afternoon by Officers POWERS and LYNCH. He became very trouble- some at the hospital Wednesday, it being necessary to strap him to the bed and handcuff him. Half an hour after he had reached the asylym he died. He was forty-seven years old and formerly worked in one of the paper mills. ================================================================================
