MR. BURNETTE had been out of health for about six years, insanity having devoloped. Five years ago this week he was taken to the Northampton asylum, where he has since remained. It was a hopeless case from the start. JONATHAN BURNETTE was a native of South Hadley, being the son of JOHN BURNETTE. He was a carpenter by trade and had always followed his vocation. In 1849 he got the gold fever and went to California, remaining there several years. He was twice mar- ried. His first wife was ELIZA JUDD, sister of DEACON HARVEY JUDD. There was one daughter born to them, MRS. AIDEN GRAVES. His second wife was a MISS AYERS of Belchertown, who now survives him with three children, JOHN, GALON and MRS. O. W. ADAMS of Holyoke. The funeral will occur Monday. ================================================================================
