        TWO NORTHAMPTON FIRES
        
        Total Loss $6500 - Much Anxiety and
          Uneasiness at Their Frequency
          
        Northampton, Aug. 2 - Two more fires occurred
      here this morning, so that the state of anxiety
      and uneasiness continues. CHARLES T. PARSONS'
      big barn on Maple st. was the first fire. In the
      barn were 75 tons of hay, 225 cases of tobacco
      and machinery. The loss will be $4500, which is
      mostly covered by insurance. This is the fourth
      fire that PARSONS has had within a few years.
        The second fire was at PURCELL'S store, Leeds.
      The roof was burned off. Loss $2000, covered by
      insurance. No cause is given in either case.
