WARNER DEAD Had Been in Holyoke since 1880 and Was Photographer of Note. MILON P. WARNER, 55, died at the Northampton insane asylum Saturday. MR. WARNER had been in failing health for the last six months and in June began to go to pieces very rapidly. He was taken to the Northampton isane asylum the first of the month. He was a victim of all sorts of hallucinations and was almost a daily visitor at the Holyoke police station with some new wild theory of persecution against his own person. M. P. WARNER had lived off and on in Holyoke since 1880. He was a man of a brilliant turn of mind, but it had long ago become clouded with touches of insanity that crept out inter- mittently through all the years. He had been a patient at the Northampton insane asylum a num- ber of times in the past 20 years. He was a splendid photographer, his specialty being out- door work with the camera, his pictures being unusually clear and sharp, and especially adapted for reproductions. He has taken some wonderful pictures of Holyoke, Mt. Tom, Mt. Holyoke, hundreds of scenes in this beautiful Connecticut valley and all over the country for that matter. MR. WARNER had his last head- quarters in the Ball building in the early summer, but later had been living at North Amherst and North Hadley, where he has rela- tives and friends. MR. WARNER was born at Granby and is about the last of his family. He was never married. He had been a great reader on scientific subjects. The funeral was held at the Granby Congregational church this afternoon with the burial there. ================================================================================
