Born Jan. 4, 1944, in Bedford, he was the son of Clarence “Bud” and Grace (Springer) Lane. A graduate of Springs Valley High School, he was a route salesman for Holsum Bread Co. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sue (Perkins) Lane, whom he married June 27, 1970; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ted Riester Jr. of Washington; son, Mark Lane of Washington; grandchildren, Sydni and Samuel Riester; and sister, Patty Dougherty of Newburgh. He is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Dempsey. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gill Chapel, with Bro. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 4 p.m.to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. ===========================================================================
