Jones, 82, 208 South East Second St., Paoli, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday (November 24, 1983) at the Orange County Hospital in Paoli. She was born in Orange County December 27, 1900, to Bloomer E. and Minnie Ellen Hickman Lane. She married Ralph Jones March 14, 1925, and he died October 31, 1980. She was a member of the Paoli United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors Lodge and Paoli Women’s Club. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Merrill (Dorothy) Cunningham, Paoli; one brother, Charles Lane, Paoli; five sisters, Mrs. Fern Lane, Mrs. Olive Bailey, Mrs. Mary Barnett and Mrs. Jessie Fisher, all of Paoli, and Ruth Barrett, Salem; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Frederick, two brothers, Glenn and Robert, and three sisters, Mildred, Ora and Lora. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dillman-Ellis Funeral Home in Paoli, the Rev. Jerry Labrun officiating. Burial will be in Community cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday. ===========================================================================
