The funeral service was conducted by Rev. John Marshall at the Cane Creek Church, then the soldiers took charge and he was buried with military honors. The family has our sympathy in this sad bereavement. NEWSPAPER ARTICLE Mr. and Mrs. Charley Beatty and Miss Blanche Adams attended the funeral of Sampson Bolling at Cane Creek Monday. He was brought from overseas. A large crowd was present to pay the last tribute of respect.
