- Graceland Cemetery -

Established in 1860 by Chicago businessman Thomas Barbour Bryan, Graceland is abeautiful park-like cemetery located on the North Side of Chicago between Irving Park and Clark streets. The final resting place of many well-known and prominent Chicagoans are found within the cemetery's 121 acres. The winding paths guide visitors past a relecting lake and magnificent tombs designed by famous architects, some of whom are interred here.
On January 18, 2001, Graceland Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
