ROBERT FALLIGANT The Augusta Chronicle Monday, November 8, 1915 FUNERAL SERVICES OF MRS. FALLIGANT The funeral services of the late Mrs. Robert Falligant, of Savannah, were held in Augusta yesterday immediately after the arrival of the Central train from Savannah. The funeral cortege came up in a private car from Savannah, and accompanying the body were Mrs. Byron (sic) Carter, the only surviving child of Mrs. Falligant, and her two daughters, Ellen and Sarah, and Mr. W. R. Coe, of New York, whose first wife was Miss Janie Falligant, of Savannah, daughter of Judge and Mrs. Falligant. In the party were also three pallbearers, Judge George T. Cann, Mr. Raiford Falligant, a nephew of the deceased, and Mr. Robert Gravis, another nephew. The party was met here by relatives and friends and the interment was at the Summerville Cemetery. The services were conducted by the rector of St. Paul’s, Rev. G. Sherwood Whitney, and quartet choir from St. Paul’s sang “Rock of Ages” and “Jesus Lover of My Soul.” The pallbearers were the gentlemen from Savannah, Mr. Thomas Burke, of Atlanta, a nephew, Mr. James U. Jackson, a brother-in-law by marriage of the deceased, and Major Joseph B. Cumming.
